Saguaro Blossom The blossom of the magnificent saguaro cactus is the state flower of Arizona. In May and June the blossom opens during the cool desert night and closes again early the next day. The white, three-inch-wide flowers with bright yellow centers can be found clustered near the ends of the saguaro's branches or "arms." |
